Wildfire Pinball

Parker Brothers c1979

Built in speaker in the rear of the case. A rear battery doors accepts 6AA batteries or an AC adapter. The top surface of the case is divided into two screens. One screen (angled at 45 degrees) records player number (4 people can play), scores in thousands, "free ball gate", "cave", and "tilt". The second flat screen on the top surface of the case resembles the top surface of a pinball machine. Extruded from both sides of the case are "flippers".

How to play the game

A player presses a button which "releases" the ball (a screen blip). As in a pinball game, the ball rises to the top of the board and then bounces from bumper to bumper scoring points as it makes contact on its way to the bottom. A player can use the "flippers" to enhance the score and keep the ball in play, but a player could also "tilt" the board stopping that turn. There is a special area called the "cave", which when entered with "flipper" ability, increases a player's score.

Approximate dimensions 20.5cm long x 13.2cm wide x 5.5cm high,
